Below is an outline that displays the finances related to robot ownership. This outline is general and incorporates our first decisions related to pricing. What this does offer is an insight into what owning a single robot at the lowest level will look like.

Steps to Ownership and Beyond (Example)

Futures R&D develops a plan at the host company to use a service robot.

Loan from bank obtained for the $20,000 robot.

Total loan cost with (13% interest/ APY compounding/5 yr term) is 26,866

Robot is purchased from supplier with plans for install and maintenance.

Robot shipped and installed at host location.

Host location pays robot a wage of $500 per month.

(Proof of concept route) Total earnings are directed to Futures R&D.

(Robot has owner) Earnings are divided as folloews:

10% to Futures R&D, 90% to robot owner

Wage is paid at $500 until the sum of wages equals robot cost (3.3 years).

Once sum wages equals robot cost, robot monthly wage is reduced to $400.

Once double the payment time is reached (6.6 years), owner must reenlist.
